Guided Tours (General Public) – Our guided tours are 60 minutes and are led by a trained educator. Tours include a short presentation on HIS’s work, a walk around the multispecies wards, and a safe opportunity to meet some residents. Group size is limited to 12–20 people to minimise stress on the animals. Please donate to help us continue the lifesaving work.
School & Educational Visits-We offer structured tours for schools, colleges, and community groups. These tours are designed to be educational and provide a “behind the scenes” look at animal welfare in India.
Experience HIS — Half-Day Program (age 18+)
Join our experienced staff for a half-day immersion (4–5 hours) to learn shelter operations and take part in non-clinical tasks such as enrichment, kennel cleaning, and community outreach prep. All participants undergo an orientation and sign a consent/waiver. Places are limited and require advance booking. A suggested donation or program fee helps cover staff supervision and supplies. Proceeds directly support resident care.
