Left tied to a tree, crying in pain and struggling to breathe—this is how Khushi’s story with us began. Tests revealed severe lung infection, dangerously low blood counts, and kidney issues. Her previous owner had abandoned her to die.
But Khushi didn’t die. Over one year of dedicated care, she recovered completely. Now she lives in our run area with other abandoned and blind dogs, thriving under the special care of Ashok Bhaiya, who has become her rock and closest friend.
Her size has made traditional adoption challenging, but Khushi doesn’t need a home—she has one with us. What she needs is the certainty that she’ll never be abandoned again.
