At Help in Suffering, we believe that kindness learned young lasts a lifetime. Our Humane Education Program is designed to cultivate empathy, compassion, and responsibility among children—the citizens and leaders of tomorrow. By helping them understand animals, respect their needs, and see the connections between human wellbeing, the environment, and the lives of animals, we are shaping a more peaceful and sustainable world for all.
Our curriculum, approved by the Directorate of Secondary Education in Rajasthan, is being delivered across government and private schools, aligned with India’s National Education Policy 2020 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Bilingual (Hindi & English) sessions tailored to different age groups: storytelling for Grades 1–3 and hands-on workshops for Grades 4+.
Roleplay, visual aids, and real-life animal interactions bring lessons to life.
Illustrated toolkits and facilitator guidebooks allow schools to continue the program independently.
Our monitoring shows 97.8% knowledge retention, 96% engagement, and real behavioural changes in children.
Since launching, we have reached thousands of children across Jaipur across government and private schools through interactive workshops.
Beyond safer interactions with animals, children are now teaching their peers and families about compassion, rabies prevention, and the “5 Freedoms” of animal welfare. With each child we teach, the circle of kindness widens—to families, communities, animals, and ultimately, our planet.
Humane Education is more than a program, it’s a movement for a kinder future. With your support, we can expand this initiative across Rajasthan and beyond.
Fund workshops, materials, and educator salaries to reach thousands more children.
Join us in classrooms, develop resources, or help us take Humane Education to new communities.
Bring Humane Education to your students and help shape responsible, compassionate citizens.
Together, we can create a future where compassion is second nature, and every child learns to live in harmony with animals, people, and the planet.
